Our story
We’ve created a seamless farm-to-consumer supply system.
With an initial focus on developing our orchards, AFS successfully navigated post-pandemic supply challenges and now operates the state-of-the-art Murray Downs Processing facility.
What we do
Horticultural care with a hands-on approach to farming.
In only 6 years, AFS has developed 3 almond orchards to early maturity, and now into a sustainability-focused business that oversees the entire value chain, from raw food production and processing to sales.
Mission
For our partners.
For the planet.
Our mission is to develop a world class, vertically-integrated almond business, operating with integrity and respect in our communities.
Environment
Working with nature to reap the rewards.
We’re committed to decarbonisation with solar microgrids powering orchards, maximising water efficiency, using solar for processing, and repurposing by-products for livestock feed.
Our newly built processing plant employs state-of-the-art technology. Its strategic location will significantly reduce our freight footprint, lowering fuel consumption and minimising wear and tear on regional roads, providing economic and environmental benefits.
Our orchards
Hand-picked locations for producing the perfect almond harvest.
Cadell
NSW / 1,680HA / 536,000 Trees
Cadell is irrigated by the Murrumbidgee River in NSW. Cadell is currently within a major infrastructure development project that will see it almost completely run by solar power by the end of 2024.
Augusta
VIC / 725HA / 229,000 Trees
The Augusta orchard is in north-west Victoria near Kenley. Formerly a vineyard, an intensive restoration project when acquired now sees Augusta present as an aesthetically pleasing orchard, which supports over 200,000 trees.
