Australian Farming Services has an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Maintenance person or a Mechanic to join our well-resourced horticultural operation on Cadell Orchard, located near Balranald.
This is a ‘hands-on’ role that requires a motivated person to assist the team to provide day-to-day maintenance to the unique equipment on an Almond Orchard.
The team prides itself on being close-knit, consultative and inclusive in its approach to the various tasks and issues that come through the workshop.
The ideal candidate must display these characteristics naturally and be able to conduct repairs on machinery and orchard equipment to a high standard, perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures on vehicles and equipment. The candidate must also assist the team to maintain a clean and safe work area and assist with general cleaning duties in the workshop. This role is suited to an individual with an interest in growing their skills and knowledge, seeking to make a tangible contribution to a premium horticultural business.
