Charles Sturt University Program

Investing in local education. Endorsing local careers. Boosting local industry.

AFS proudly sponsors a fully-funded scholarship program for local, secondary school graduates with Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. With our investment partners, over $1.7m has been committed to fund the AGcessibility scholarship, creating 10 places each year for children from rural, low-socioeconomic communities.

The program offers school-leavers the opportunity to study agriculture with a leading regional University. Each scholarship recipient is partnered with an AFS representative throughout their degree to monitor their progress and listen to their feedback on the program.

The scholarship also offers periodic, paid, working opportunities on our farms during university breaks. This allows the students to understand the systems at play in our growing industry and to gain an income while studying to assist their external expenses.
